Tis the time of the year for planning! As we near the end of the year it is a good time to look back at what has happened and consider how it could affect your financial future. Here are some important items to consider so that you can start the new year’s finances with peace of mind. For a downloadable and more comprehensive list click here.

  • Review your tax holdings
  • Estimate your AGL
  • Estimate your AMT
  • Select next year’s employer benefits
  • Review your giving and charitable donation planning.
  • Check/review any tax-loss harvesting and rebalancing you did this year
  • Where are you at with your RMD’s?
  • Have you maxed contributions to an IRA or employer retirement plan?
