Preparing your Life & Mindset for Retirement
The average person spends 30 or 40 years in the workforce before retiring. Not only does your career provide the financial security you need to retire comfortably, it also serves as an outlet for your creative and mental energy. When you retire, you lose that outlet — and if you don’t identify new ways to channel your energy, retirement can be a disorienting experience.
On Wednesday, September 29th at 12:00 PM PT, Elisabeth Cullington from HoyleCohen will be joined by Pegah Kadkhodaian, founder of PKNY Health and PK Coaching. Elisabeth and Pegah will discuss ways you can find your purpose in retirement — and explain why that process should start sooner rather than later. Elisabeth and Pegah will also cover:
- Redefining your identity during retirement and building the discipline needed to ensure physical and mental wellness
- Defining your core values and understanding how those values shape your quality of life in retirement
- How to cultivate your creative energy to bring you as much satisfaction (if not more) in retirement as you had in your career

Should be a GREAT discussion! Hope to see you there!
What a great topic to cover! Especially, with covering more emotional support topics such as physical and mental wellness. Retirement is more than asset and wealth management, its an emotional process too.
