Vanessa holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and management with a concentration in international finance from Boston University.
Driven in pursuit of excellence, Vanessa obtained her Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and Certified Financial Planner designations all before turning 30. Active in the community, Vanessa serves on the board as President of the CFA Society San Diego, a group of more than 500 investment professionals.
Steve Taddie, CBE, CFM
Chief Economist
Steve Taddie is the Chief Economist and Managing Partner of HoyleCohen, LLC. He was the Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and Chief Economist of Stellar Capital Management which merged with HoyleCohen in 2020. Steve has over 30 years of applied economics experience specializing in establishing economic outlooks and forecasting, and leading teams that provide investment management services.
His experience with applied economics takes conversations and presentations behind the economic headlines to analyze trends, opportunities, and risks as they apply to the investment markets and businesses. He is the Vice President and Past President of the Arizona Economic Round Table, a Past President of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council, a member of the National Association for Business Economists (NABE), the CFA Institute, and serves as an Arbitrator for FINRA. He has been quoted by various domestic and international publications, authored numerous articles, and has spoken frequently on those applied economics subjects to industry and public audiences.
Peter Mueller, MBA, CFP®
Senior Wealth Advisor
Peter is a Partner at HoyleCohen and oversees portfolio management and client services in the firm’s Santa Monica office. In 2017, he merged his wealth advisory business with HoyleCohen in an effort to continue serving his existing clients and build a regional advisory firm. With 30+ years of experience in portfolio design, management, and financial planning, Peter is an instrumental part of HoyleCohen and the firm’s Investment Committee.
Peter has an MBA from Pepperdine University and is a Certified Financial Planner and has a passion for helping clients navigate all financial life stages.
