Recent proposals could cut the estate tax coupon (the amount of $ you can pass free of estate tax to your heirs) from $11.7M per person/$23.4M per couple to ~$5M per person/$10M per couple.

If passed, the change may take effect as early as the next few weeks (in an extreme scenario) or by 12/31/21, making this ‘Phase 2’ estate tax strategy all the more relevant.

With this structure, our client could (potentially) save over $100M in estate tax over the next 30 years while protecting his family’s wealth for generations.

Enjoy!
