It is with both joy and sadness that we announce the departure of our beloved San Diego Office Manager, Connie Holmberg. Connie is recently engaged and will be married in late August, and she is leaving HC to focus on her new life! Although we will miss her dearly, we are thrilled for both her and her fiancé, Bob Jakubowski.
Many of you know Connie as the face of the San Diego HoyleCohen office, where she has acted as an office manager, receptionist and self-appointed Office Mom for almost 10 years. Connie brought an infectious energy and professionalism to her position at HoyleCohen. She could always be found bustling around to ensure clients and staff alike were well taken care of.
Connie and Bob met online about a year ago. Connie said neither of them had been active on the site except for the few times they had corresponded with each other. They shared emails over 3 weeks before meeting for lunch and they hit it off right away. Bob is a retired engineer who spent many years with Hewitt Packard. Connie came to HoyleCohen in November 2010 after 4 years in the Trust Administrative Service division of 1st Regional Bank. Prior to that, Connie was a happy stay at home mom of her four kids.
While Connie is over the moon, leaving HoyleCohen is bittersweet. As she remarked: “it has been the best 10 years ever. Every day I love my job; I love the people I work with and love being an office mom. The best part is how much I really love and enjoy being part of our clients’ lives.”
