Each year for the last 11 years, The Lipinsky Family, San Diego Jewish Art Festival’s centerpiece, Woman of Valor, honors six remarkable women in the San Diego Jewish community. This is done through the sharing of their stories in a theatrical performance with music and images. This year we are thrilled to announce that HoyleCohen, Sr. Wealth Advisor and co-founder of the Women & Wealth practice, Janet Acheatel, is an honoree.

Janet has been an active and passionate member and supporter of the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego (JCF) for over 13 years, and is currently their Board of Directors Chairperson and Investment Committee Member.  The JCF helps individuals, families and community organizations to achieve their philanthropic goals and to increase current and future support for a vibrant Jewish community in San Diego, Israel and around the world.

This year the Women of Valor stories will be told online! In a series of six videos highlighting each remarkable woman, and pillar of the San Diego Jewish Community, will be honored. They will feature stories of strength and inspiration to create a portrait of the resilience of our community. In a time of isolation, the JCF feel’s that these stories are more essential than ever.
